  1. I credit card makes a list of purchases that you then pay off at the end of the year. A debit card withdraws money strait form you account. Both of them are plastic and with using both people tend to spend more money.

  2. credit card: you borrow money from the company to buy things and pay them back

debit card: you buy things with your own money that you already had in you bank account

both: just a swipe so you don't feel as much pain as buying with cash and you usually spend more

  3. Credit Card: Always borrowing money then paying it back. Usually keeps you in debt.
Debit Card: Comes directly from the checking account, it's limited to what money you have right now.
Both are small plastic cards that are used to spend money. They are usually used to spend more money because it is less painful than cash.

  5. Similarities: Both are made out of plastic. They both replace cash in your wallet. Easy to use. Both cause more spending than if one was to use cash.

Differences: 1. Debit: withdrawn from checking; credit is paid off monthly.
    2. Debit: money that you have NOW; credit uses money you might or
    might not have.
    3. Debit: not any late fees or interest (provided you really had the
money); credit has interest and late fees.

  6. Similarities:
    1. Both cards make it easier to spend money which could be good or bad, depending on the person and the situation.
    2. They both allow you to make purchases without having cash.
    Differences:
    1. Credit cards put you in a position where you owe what you've spent back to your credit company, while debit cards use money that you already have.
    2. With credit cards, people often go into debt because they spend so much and then don't pay it back so they also are then charged interest and late fees and penalties, but because debit cards only use your money that's already in the bank, that's never an issue.

  10. They are both plastic cards that help you pay for things "easier." With a debit card the money is taken right out of your account. With a credit card you pay it off monthly.

  11. credit cards and debit cards are similar because they are both plastic. they are different because a credit card lets you sepnd money and then you have to pay it back later, a debit card takes the money that you spend with it straight out of you bank account.

  12. Credit Cards and Debit cards are both plastic cards, usually used for food, shopping and such. But when you use a credit card you automatically owe money, whereas when you use a debit card it's money you've already saved in an account.
