What are some of the problems your group encountered during the budgeting activity? How did you fix these problems?

  1. Not enough money for cable TV, we resolved by doing Netflix instead.

  2. not enough money in the food and car insurance sections we fixed this by pulling some from the $1000 savings each month and easily fixed our problem

  3. We found that when tragedy fell we pulled first from other, emergency fund, then from the savings. We did however not have cable and a very small phone bill.

  4. We encountered an emergency that cost a whole lot of money. We resolved it by shaving down on things we didn't need as badly.

  6. We would have liked to have more for savings, but it all worked out pretty well.

  7. Autumn and I had to delete miscellaneous, cut the savings for that month, reduce giving, and get rid of rental insurance just so that we could "pay the taxes" and pay a nearly 1000 dollar repair bill.

    That was not fun.

  8. We just decreased the amount in the entertainment and "other." Thankfully, we had a decent annual income and not too many problems.

  9. Not enough money for cable or internet for our cell phones. We got netflix and got a phone plan without internet.

  10. We had a few small unexpected things but we had a ton in savings so we just took some money from that.

  11. we had an emergency which cost a lot but we just cut back out of less necessary things.

  12. We had to cut some of money out of our savings and give up our cable and some other forms of entertainment in order to fund a emergency.
