The common nerd likes to plan everything out, be neat and tidy, and be on time or early. The free spirit likes to be carefree and doesn't care if he/she is on time or has a good plan. The nerd could loosen up and spend a little bit of money sometimes, and the free spirit could learn to save a bit better.

Nerds like to have everything settled and planned, they're collected, put together, and neat. They're intelligent and punctuality and order can result from that. They like to be in control. These traits result in an orderly and systematic budget with controlled spending. Free spirits are spontaneous and willing to enjoy life at a slower and more relaxed pace. They would prefer to do what is enjoyable over what is responsible. This translates into finances that are spent rather than saved.
Nerds enjoy planning ahead and being on time, have they're money set in place, and set goals of what they need vs what they want. Free spirits want to do everything at once, and have their own way of life. They get what they need and want no matter what's in their wallet.
Nerds like to plan ahead, be very frugal, lay out all sorts of plans and are always on time. Free Spirits are very easy going, they live in the moment, they tend to be late, messy and like being spontaneous rather than organized.
nerds like to organize and plan out everything and have everything go exactly as planned so they tend to save more. free spirits tend to do what ever they want when ever they want so if something pops up they would just go do it, which makes them save less and spend more.
