You can take a good look at your interests, strengths, dreams, and weaknesses and just search for a bunch of different careers that use your strengths, are similar to your interests, fulfill your dreams, and don't require that all of your weaknesses be your powers.
You need to look at what you like to do and what you don't like. I found that asking people who know you a lot are great people to ask. They will tell you some little things about yourself that you might not noticed. Adam
You need to analize your strengths and weaknesses, you will grow in what you love to do. Also, asking friends and family what they think you are good at is also a good way to find your talents.
You can look at your characteristics, quirks, and traits, and which of them relate to certain jobs. Aptitude tests are nice too. You should also find things that you are interested in and relate in other jobs.
Look at your likes and dislikes and then look for careers that incorporate those. If you're family oriented then you may not like jobs that require weekends and holidays. Also, think about yourself and what you could bring to the job as well like your qualities and personality.
You can ask yourself, "what do I like doing most?" and find something in that direction. You can also talk to people, I believe there are career counselors who would be happy to help.
Figure out what you like to do and what you are good at doing and head in that direction. don't give up on that dream just because it doesn't make as good money as other jobs might.
Assess what you enjoy and what you're good, and then see how you could incorporate those activities into a job. I also think a very big part of deciding on a career is praying for direction from God, and trusting that He will guide you and give you the opportunities you need. Also, focus more on doing what you love more than doing what makes the most money, but don't pick a profession that is completely frivolous either...
